KazTEA 2015
Happy to inform that KAZAKHSTAN TEACHERS OF ENGLISH ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE 2015 ‘Excellence in English Teaching and Research for Better Learning Outcomes’ is scheduled for April 28-29, 2015 in Kostanay.
The conference is organized by SALT on the basis of A.Baitursynov Kostanay State University. The organizing committee includes members of EFL teacher’s associations from Pavlodar, Kokshetau, Karaganda, Astana (ELUTA) and Shymkent (TESh). We express our gratitude to the Regional English Language Office, U.S. Embassy Astana for sponsoring scholarships for 25 participants from Kazakhstan. Scholarship details are on the application form that is due to arrive by March 25 to the email: kaztea2014@gmail.com
KazTEA 2015 will cover the following topic areas:
Teacher’s role in EFL classroom for better learning outcomes
The ESP classroom for the workplace
Tips for teaching English for young learners
Interactive White Boards and E-teaching in the language classroom
From passive English learners to critical thinkers
Language and Culture crosswords’ answers
Action research as a way of professional development
CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS will be published online with an ISBN. Papers can be written in three formats: Research, Teaching Practice and Commentary, and in one of the 3 languages: English, Kazakh or Russian.
